Three types of Dog Bark Collar are available with different methods to control excessive barking.
The Shock Collar system has a collar strap made of nylon which has a battery and transmitter encased in plastic. The strap allow you to adjust the collar to fit your dogs size, the plastic enclosure is small, waterproof and lightweight.
The collar has a sound sensor with built in microphone that recognises your dogs own
bark from surrounding sounds, this sensor will also pickup vibrations from your dogs throat.
The senor also has level adjustment which you can set depending the amount of shock you need to administer to your dog for the device to become effective. The Shock Bark Collar is chosen by owners who want basic discipline to stop excessive barking.
The Citronella Bark Collar relies on the dogs sense of smell to discipline your dog. This has an adjustable collar with a spray unit attached to it, once your dog starts barking a Citronella extract is squirted at you dogs muzzle, this then discourages the dog from barking.
The Ultra Sonic Bark Collar uses sound to “reprimand” your dog if it barks. There are two versions available, the first has an audible (Sonic) sound the second has inaudible (Ultrasonic) sound. Depending which you choose your pet will either hear a fluctuating pitch or constant high-pitched sound.
